The outbreak of COVID-19 has led to many countries imposing travel restrictions in an attempt to control the spread of the virus. Canada is no different, with the government announcing a series of measures earlier this month. So, how long will these restrictions last?
It is difficult to say for certain, as the situation is constantly evolving. However, the restrictions currently in place are set to last until at least April 13th. This may be extended depending on the situation at that time.
In the meantime, Canadians are being advised to avoid all non-essential travel. This includes both international and domestic travel. If you must travel, it is important to take precautions to protect yourself and others. This includes washing your hands often, avoiding close contact with people who are sick, and wearing a mask if you are sick.
The current travel restrictions imposed by the Canadian government are expected to last until at least May 21, 2020.
Are there Covid restrictions to enter Canada?
