March 13, 2020 – The Trump Administration declares a nationwide emergency and issues an additional travel ban on non-US citizens traveling from 26 European countries due to COVID-19. This travel ban will go into effect on Friday, March 13th at 11:59 pm EST and will remain in place until April 12th, 2020. This ban will not apply to US citizens or legal permanent residents, but will apply to all other non-US citizens traveling from the affected countries.<\/p>\n

North Korea is the only destination where it is forbidden for US citizens to travel to. The border is closed for both US citizens and citizens of other countries.<\/p>\n
