As of May 17th, 2021, all travellers arriving in Norway from countries on the red list are required to quarantine for ten days. This includes travellers who are unvaccinated or have not recovered from the COVID-19. Those who have been vaccinated or have recovered from the COVID-19 are exempt from the quarantine requirement.<\/p>\n

Norway has been very successful in containing the COVID virus and as a result, they have very few cases. Consequently, they have not placed any travel restrictions on visitors from other countries. So, if you’re looking to travel to a beautiful, scenic country that is also safe from the virus, Norway is the perfect choice!<\/p>\n

Norway is a party to the Schengen Agreement which means that US citizens may enter Norway for up to 90 days for tourist or business purposes without a visa. Your passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the period of stay and you need sufficient funds and a return airline ticket.<\/p>\n

What is the best time to visit Norway <\/h3>\n

Norway is an amazing country to visit year-round, but if you want to take advantage of the midnight sun, June to August is the best time to go. March, April and May are also beautiful months to visit, with stunning scenery and cooler temperatures. Tromsø is a great year-round destination for its stunning scenery and cool weather.<\/p>\n

If you plan to drive in Norway, you can do so with a valid driver’s license from your home country for up to three months. This applies regardless of whether you are staying in Norway temporarily or if you have your normal residence here. Just be sure that you meet the Norwegian age requirements for driving.<\/p>\n
