As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the United States has continued to enforce travel restrictions in an effort to prevent the spread of the virus. Currently, there are no plans to change these restrictions.

Are there any travel restrictions coming into the United States?
The White House has announced that vaccines will be required for international travelers coming into the United States, with an effective date of November 8, 2021. This means that anyone who wishes to travel to the United States from another country will need to be vaccinated against the disease. The White House believes that this will help to protect the American people from the spread of the disease.
If you are traveling to California from another state or country, it is recommended that you test for COVID-19 3-5 days after your arrival. If you test positive for the virus or develop symptoms of COVID-19, you should isolate yourself and follow the public health recommendations for treatment and recovery.
Can you travel to the US without a vaccine
As of May 2021, all adults (18 years and older) who are non-US citizens and nonimmigrants must show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before traveling by air to the United States from a foreign country. This requirement applies to all travelers, regardless of their country of origin, destination, or vaccination status. Travelers who are unable to show proof of vaccination will be denied boarding.
There are no entry requirements for US citizens related to COVID-19. A negative COVID-19 test is not required for entry.
Do you need Covid test to enter USA?
If you are traveling to Canada, you will not need to take a COVID-19 test before your flight. However, if you are traveling from China, Hong Kong, or Macao, you will need to take a COVID-19 test before your flight.
As of April 18, 2022, the CDC’s January 29, 2021 Order requiring masks on public transportation conveyances and at transportation hubs is no longer in effect. This change is due to a court order.
What does fully vaccinated mean?
This means that the person has received both doses of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine. This person is now considered fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
There are a few US airlines that do not require masks, including Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, and Southwest Airlines. However, it is still recommended that you wear a mask while flying, as it can help to protect you and those around you from getting sick.
Does wearing a mask on a plane help prevent getting sick
It’s important to remember that even though there are vaccines available, there are still plenty of viruses out there. Face masks are a great way to prevent the spread of respiratory viruses, including Covid-19.

Does fully vaccinated mean booster shot?
The definition of fully vaccinated does not currently include a booster for COVID-19. However, this does not mean that people are not still encouraged to get the booster when it becomes available. People are best protected from COVID-19 when they stay up to date with vaccinations, which includes getting a booster when eligible.
There have been reports of pets globally, including cats and dogs, becoming infected with the virus that causes COVID-19. In most cases, this has occurred after close contact with an infected person. The risk of pets spreading COVID-19 to people is considered to be low. However, it is still important to practice good hygiene with your pets and to avoid close contact with them if you are sick.
Is it possible to get a third COVID booster
If you are moderately or severely immune-compromised, you may need a third dose of the vaccine as part of your primary vaccine series. This is because your initial immune response from the first 2 doses may not have been strong enough.
We are pleased to announce that, in accordance with the Transportation Security Administration, face masks will no longer be required for our customers and team members at US airports and on domestic flights. We hope this will make travel more enjoyable for everyone.
Do I have to wear a mask at LAX?
Implementing the above measures will help to keep everyone safe and healthy when using the terminals. Wearing face coverings will protect others from exposure to any respiratory droplets that could be emitted, and increased cleaning will help to remove any potential contaminants that could be present. These steps will help to create a safer environment for everyone.
